Mojis Fillys

 Accordeon madness! Fakie #2 This is a fakie i have obtained, also from Russia, coming in a similar candy surprise box as the fakie Zephyra . Interestingly, these do not have crowns at all, though they use Princess/Fairy moulds + Fairy wings. Super interesting. I have found a russian article about these, which notes that the main producer of these toys is Smiley Toys.  I have obtained this baby from ebay after one of the members in our discord posted a link to a particularily interesting offer.   Some Fillys don't quite make the quality control sometimes. And today i want to take a look at these rejects! So, what is a factory reject? It is a toy or product that does not pass various standards. That some Fillys occasionally have a factory defect is not unheard of, as minor imperfections are tolerated. Bleeding colors on different colored parts of the figurine for example are pretty standard. Nothing crazy enough to pull them out of the production line! To answer more questions about the standards of Filly production, i have bought batches of factory rejected Fillys. Of course all my conclusions can only be speculations. Here is what i have gotten in my most recent batch from Whitehouse Leisure ltd. : Batch of Rejects Three bald ponies, six normal flocked ones, and two more normal looking Witchy ponies (not pictured) which came with completly ruined cards.  Interesting. So, what is to be learned from this? Firstly, most of them are unicorns, with the wrong gem colour. ...

  A bald beauty! Rejected Valentina  This is a factory rejected figurine of Valentina. Her baldness, mismatched wings, crown and missing antennas really don't let us doubt why she was rejected. Poor girl. Her and various other factory rejected Filly seem to be mostly sold by Whitehouse Leisure International Ltd. as they are cheap and easy to sell en masse to get rid of them at the factory. Win Win for Filly Collectors and the Factories! No production year is given, though it is safe to assume 2014 since she is a Butterfly. What´s super awesome about these rejects though is their baldness makes them perfectly safe to display without worrying about dust dirtying the flock. Hooray!  It's Fakie  Friday! Fakie #1 This fakie made it's way to me all the way from Russia. There they have little cartons filled with candy and some kind of toy, in this lucky case a fake Filly. I cannot pinpoint a production date as i got her just like this, out of box. However since she uses an Elves mould, she is earliest from 2012. Notably, her horn seems to be a legit green Unicorn horn, while the crystal is way too dark to match the usual green crystal Fillys would have . This particular Fakie is produced bei Weijun Toys . Ever since i have started the Filly Discord with Eli, i have been finding out almost daily about all sorts of fake Fillys, and my curiosity was piqued. I finally had the chance to get my hands on this Fakie from Russia, and it is such a bizarre Filly to have, because without looking at her too intensly, you really would not be able to tell.  Fakie from the Back Fakie from the Front Through my research i have been able to find out the producing company...

  The one and only! N°1 (2013, FFC) Obtainable only through becoming a member of the "Filly Fan Club", aka subscribing to the Filly magazine, you would get this first figurine in your first year of being subscribed. This figurine with THE Filly (usually on a little display stand, mine came without it) was announced in the February 2013 magazine. She is the first of three Fan Club Fillys released. This is a Filly i definitely wanted in 2013, but never got back then! She is by herself very special, and rare by context: people who paid for the subscription, and by extension this exclusive figurine, are less likely to part with it for cheap / at all. So getting this baby, even without the iconic display stand, was such a miracle to me. I found her in a lot on Vinted and it was an instant purchase. Hell yeah! Filly Side B Filly Side A

Sparkling in the summer! Summer (2023, GBE) This Glitter Summer is also from the 2023 Glitter Butterfly Release, also obtainable through the July 2023 magazine. Just like Lotus , i aquired her from a Wundertüte. Just like with Lotus, this Summer is an exception to my missing interest in the Butterfly releases after the original one.   A nice warm - cold contrast! This is a Filly Princess from the Recolor Release! These were not avaible in Germany, however widespread in various other countries where Filly was released ( e.g; Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Great Britain...) This particular blue Leonarda is part of a Mom and Kid Blister from 2011 from Great Britain. There is 3 recolor versions of each basic Princess, as well as 4 Crystal recolors. There is no recolored baby Princess Fillys. This was a super insane find to me, and is by far the highest effort i have had to go through for a Filly. This blister popped up on Kleinanzeigen and i was so stunned. I only recently back then found out about the existence of these Recolors through Eli, who kindly sent me some. So to get a Recolor here in Germany, and in a blister no less (!!!) was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Refusing to ship this set, i decided to pick it up myself.   This guy sure likes amusement parks! This version of Loki is from the Filly Unicorn Ferris Wheel Playset from 2011. His baby version was obtainable through the August 2011 magazine . This guy is super sweet! Loki is one of my very favorites, and im so excited to finally own this version. He is very delicate to handle, but since i ended up picking him and his ferris wheel up myself, i made sure to wrap him carefully in my bag. Here's some more shots of this baby. Glitter madness!! Lotus (2023, GBE) This super glittery Lotus is from the 2023 Glitter Butterfly release, obtainable through the July 2023 magazine. I personally aquired her from a Wundertüten collection featuring her magazine for one. I usually don't really care much about Butterfly releases, but this glittery one has really done it for me! Her colors just work SO incredibly well with the ridiculously pink glitter wings, i love it. The glitter she sheds can be excused for that fact.   The sweet Filly Fairy queen! Titania (2013, SZE) She was released in 2013 as part of the Filly Fairy Silberzauber Edition, obtainable through magazines in 2013/2014. Baby silver fairies do not exist in this same exact way, as they only have silver crowns, and usual color wings. They were also obtainable through magazines, likely around the same time, though special magazine figurins with occasional silver crowns have existed since 2010 ( production error? this is a topic for another post). She is super adorable! These Silver Fairies have eluded my grasp for ages, only recently have i gotten a few. I find it super interesting that these silver Fairies released after the silver Unicorns! From those i do have some. Filly World logo ( by me ) One of the coolest things I've gotten to be a part of so far, is creating a Discord Server for Filly collectors around the globe. What started as direct messaging Eli last year, turned into finding more and more collectors on instagram, and eventually putting in some work to create a cozy server for our community! The discord is primarily focussed on the original Filly toylines, however if you are interested in the Funtasia part of the fandom, i recommend joining the  Filly Funtasia Discord . Either way, this discord server is a lovely place to discuss figurines, post photos and art, ask about all things Filly and, of course TRADE! The trading system works by posting a wish- as well as an offerlist. The rest is up to the people interested! I have had the opportunity to trade a bunch of times so far, and it is such a cool way to connect and to share joy :D Either way, please respect the rules though - and most importantly have fun! Iris with her super gorgeous fan! Iris (2012, SE2) She is part of the second Special Edition release from 2012, which also featured Isabela, Skip, Romeo, Echo and Theada. Her baby variant was obtainable through the June 2011 magazine . This is probably one of my most sought after Fillys ever since these Special Editions released. I've loved her design back then, and still do now. I only had the baby version forever... She has just simply eluded my grasp until May 2024, where i finally stumbled upon a seller willing to part with just her - and she is finally home after all these years!
