Glitter madness!!

This super glittery Lotus is from the 2023 Glitter Butterfly release, obtainable through the July 2023 magazine. I personally aquired her from a Wundertüten collection featuring her magazine for one.











I usually don't really care much about Butterfly releases, but this glittery one has really done it for me! Her colors just work SO incredibly well with the ridiculously pink glitter wings, i love it. The glitter she sheds can be excused for that fact.

Introduction

The Gallery of Curiosities

So, what's with this " Gallery of Curiosities "? My instagram page is home to my personal project, where i aim to research and post rare or obscure Fillys from my own collection. Born from a desire to post my beloved collection - but also the awareness that i really don't see myself posting every single one unfortunately. So only the super interesting or weird ones it is :D What makes a Filly GoC worthy? - Rarity; as in due to limited releases, or local avaiblity - Weirdness; factory rejects and Filly with errors - Recolors; namedly Princess recolors - Rereleases; mostly the 10 year anniversary ones - my personal favorite one; Big Fillys with items in their hooves, due to being parts of sets or other releases. These all of course are subjective, so it might not fall into your perception. Factory Reject Valentina

  A bald beauty! Rejected Valentina  This is a factory rejected figurine of Valentina. Her baldness, mismatched wings, crown and missing antennas really don't let us doubt why she was rejected. Poor girl. Her and various other factory rejected Filly seem to be mostly sold by Whitehouse Leisure International Ltd. as they are cheap and easy to sell en masse to get rid of them at the factory. Win Win for Filly Collectors and the Factories! No production year is given, though it is safe to assume 2014 since she is a Butterfly. What´s super awesome about these rejects though is their baldness makes them perfectly safe to display without worrying about dust dirtying the flock. Hooray! Iris with a fan

Iris with her super gorgeous fan! Iris (2012, SE2) She is part of the second Special Edition release from 2012, which also featured Isabela, Skip, Romeo, Echo and Theada. Her baby variant was obtainable through the June 2011 magazine . This is probably one of my most sought after Fillys ever since these Special Editions released. I've loved her design back then, and still do now. I only had the baby version forever... She has just simply eluded my grasp until May 2024, where i finally stumbled upon a seller willing to part with just her - and she is finally home after all these years! Iris from the Back Iris from the Front   And since obtaining this out of box Iris with a few markings and an initial on her hoof, i'm extremly gratefull to have had the luck to get my hands on a mint Iris!
